忙しなく過ぎて行った2023年。クリスマスツリーを出すと、ちょっと気持ちが上がります。Wham!、山下達郎、デビッドフォスター、そして長年愛されている名曲の数々。この季節に聴きたい曲ばかりを、ツリーの横でアットホームにレコーディングしました。皆さまの年末が、平穏な日々で満たされますように。

日本・英国・米国の三カ国で過ごし18歳で帰国。ジャズピアニストとしての演奏活動を開始。数多くのミュージシャンに影響を受け、敬愛するオスカー・ピーターソンおよびベニー・グリーンに倣い、心地よいグルーヴ感とリリカルなフレージングをモットーとするようになる。

2005年、サンディエゴに2年間留学し、現地で日本人ピアニストとして活躍。真っ青な青空の下、澄み渡る海でのサーフィンを通じて、音を自然のエネルギーとして感じるようになる。

2007年、日本に帰国し東京での演奏活動を再開。自身のパフォーマンス・プロジェクト”Groove Pockets”を活動の核として、ジャズ、ボサノバ、ポップス、ライブペイントと多ジャンルに渡るアーティストとのパフォーマンスを重ねる。ノスタルジックな風景を彷彿とさせる抑制されたサウンドに定評あり。 ... more
